your resume only tells me what you did, tell me HOW you did, if you planned marketing strategies, what were the results? such as, sales improving such and such percent etc.

prove the things you say in your resume, it might get easier...

interesting approach - I got here from an ad on Facebook.

I hope it works for you. I found that after 400 resumes sent into the void that I got a job from someone I freelanced for. The job was never advertised, and when posted on the company website it was customized in such a way that I was the only one qualified.

What I'm saying is "keep working those contacts".

I'm also painfully aware that there's no security where I am. I felt much more secure working for myself for 15 years. Maybe your path is that direction? Just a thought.
